Yep, I already caught that scene in episode 10c (that TW has uploaded recently). The meaning was totally altered in the second dub. But honestly, I don’t mind it one bit. For kids, I don’t think that episode should be broadcast on TV at all with those deep creep jokes. Oh one more thing: for today’s generations like Gen Z dark jokes are pretty much the norm, even for a 10 year old kid.

Okay, there seems to be some misunderstanding regarding the dubs that Hungama released. Many people are calling the second Hungama dub the worst. When Hungama released their first dub in 1992, it was really good. However, over time they changed the voice actors and released a new dub which continued for the remaining seasons. If we focus solely on the first season there are two dubs that Hungama released: the first one (with less censorship) and the second one (with a bit more censorship).
The thing is…..the dialogue delivery and the funnier concepts can actually be seen in the second dub. I have both dubs, so I compared them and the second dub sounds great to me. I don’t understand why people including admin, are calling it ruined. If I’ve misunderstood anything regarding the number of dubs, please let me know in the reply section.
i don’t know which 2nd dub you have, but here what everyone is talking about is another dub by hungama in which shinchan voice is completely changed, due to complains after ban of shinchan, hungama redubbed old seasons with new shinchan voice, censorship was too much, also dialogues were completely changed, even the whole scenario of the episodes started giving different meaning. that’s why everyone loves old dub. That’s all
if you enjoy 2nd dub, then be happy, there’s nothing wrong with that.
I have two different dubs of Shin-chan for the first season: one is the classic from 1992 (collected from yours) and the other is stored on my hard drive. Both are for the first season and both are good, but the second voice was more fascinating to me. However, I see everyone criticizing the second dub, which I don’t find fair. I think there is some misunderstanding about which second dub I’m referring to or maybe I misunderstood. I hope you understand what I mean after reading this comment. Thanks!
there are various cuts for season 1, we consider the last cut of hungama as 2nd dub, also released on amzn prime india, which is completely changed, you might have something else, don’t know.

1st dub is better and true to the original Japanese language with dialogues, you might be born later and watched directly 2nd dub, that’s why you love it more, and that’s completely normal. No need to argue and be happy.
