Why you add 1080×264 (HQ) instead of 1080×265 (HQ)???
Because it’s the source file I used for syncing the audio, and it was already around 1 GB in size, I gave you the original file instead of re-encoding it to 1080p x265 10-bit. If I had used the Blu-ray Remux source (which is around 3–6 GB per episode), I would have provided you with a high-quality 1080p x265 encode instead.
Bro i appreciate your BD release. You are doing excellent job by quality service. I have one suggestion for you , don’t upload x264 codec with HQ quality. Instead use x265 which superior codec than x264. I myself mux hindi track with HEVC releases from torrents. You can choose batch release which has 1-1.5GB 10bit HEVC per episode. That quality would be great for watching anime on laptop with custom conf and shaders in mpv.net. i expecting that you would understand me and reply me ASAP. Email me.
I understand all that, and I only use x265 for my own high-quality encodes.
Those 1080p x264 files were just the source files I downloaded from a torrent for syncing, they’re not my own encodes. This time, I didn’t use a Blu-ray remux for encode because I was low on storage.
Also, re-encoding an already high-quality 1080p x264 encode that’s only around 1.2 GB into x265 doesn’t really make sense. I hope you understand what I’m trying to say.
What is problem with HEVC. I don’t know how someone don’t know that how quality and size parameter works with different codecs. HEVC(x265) is highly superior than AVC(x264). If x264 is size of 1GB then HEVC would be around 500-600MB with even more superior quality due to 10bit colour depth and HEVC encode superiority.
