Synopsis: Based on the manga with the same title, this animated film follows Shizuku, an inquisitive young girl and a voracious reader, who longs to be a writer when she grows up. One day she notices that all of her library books have previously been taken out by one Seiji Amasawa. Amid chasing after a large cat, befriending an eccentric antiques dealer and writing her first novel, Shizuku aims to find this mysterious boy who may well be her soul mate.

Encoders Note

This was pretty easy since the video source was good. There are some issues which were not fixed in the BD but they can’t be avoided since this movie came out all the way back in 1995. Overall this was a small project i didn’t take my time on it since it was mostly good in all parts just little issues which i fixed. Usually old Studio Ghibli films were dubbed in hindi and released on NF but sadly this wasn’t. Removed German and other audios to save space. 1080p HEVC x265 10bit will not be released since 720p x265 is high in size and is literately exactly like 1080p HEVC x265 10bit so better get that and don’t beg for 1080p x265 in comments.
